Technician Cards

The BS7036 Card is the property of each automatic door engineer. The technician's card is to show that the engineer has passed the British Standard 7036 exam. This card proves that the engineer is competent to work on pedestrian automatic doors.

Once the engineer has taken the BS7036 exam they are issued with an Authorised Technician Card that is valid for 5 years. On expiry, the card can be renewed for a further 3 years at the cost below. If the card has expired beyond a 12 month period it cannot be renewed and the engineer will need to resit the exam.
